This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Citrus County, Florida.

The Citrus County Housing Services Division (HSD) last accepted Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from May 1, 2024, until May 7, 2024. There is no notice when this waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

• Current Citrus County resident
• Homeless
• 62 years of age or older
• A person with a disability
• Victim of domestic violence

250 applicants were placed on the waiting list by random lottery, weighed by order of preferences.

To apply while the waitlist was open, applicants were required to complete the online application.
